The Erband tape is a combination of high-quality, semi-hard PVC-Pmaterial and a high expansion expanding tape. The effectiveness of the tape for con joints has been confirmed by numerous tests of the concreted sample. Sealing elements (rib profile and expanding rubber), even under high water pressure, protect against water leaks and prove their reliability.

Assembly
It is allowed to install the tape directly to the reinforcement prior to concreting and to fix the assembly clamp every 50 cm.
It is also allowed to install the tape during concreting, where the tape is pressed into the concrete together with assembly clamps. Concrete within the tape should be additionally compacted.
When installing the tape at the contact of the ceiling slab and the wall, the tape should be installed in fresh concrete to the control strip. Concrete within the tape should be additionally compacted. Additionally, the expanding tape should be protected against weather conditions until the slab is concreted.
In order to facilitate the assembly, a control strip is placed on the tape at a height of approx. 2.5 cm to approx. 5.0 cm, it is used to determine and control the installation depth. The maximum depth of linking the profile foot with the expanding rubber is 5.0 cm.

When installing Erband tapes, protective gloves and fully functional tools should be used.
Storage and transport
Before installing, protect against moisture and weather conditions. Tapes delivered to the construction site on pallets in rolls.
